Inside Sales Engineer (ISE)

JOB TITLE:        Inside Sales Engineer (ISE)
DEPARTMENT:   Sales and Marketing
REPORTS TO:     Sales Operations Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the sales operations function through: technical sales support for all products and markets; coordination of activities between Sales, Production and Engineering; and assisting Sales Operations Manager with PPS management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain an application engineering notes section on Company intranet
• Assist RSM’s with product applications and technical support for both pre and post sales for all products
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with RSM’s, manufacturers representatives, OEM’s and distributors
• Assist with selection and configuration of standard and custom product features and special pricing
• Specify products and provide technical escalation for customers
• In response to requests for quote (RFQ), provide specification and documentation review, issue quotes as needed
• Follow up on all PPS open quotations and update booking forecast details
• Represent sales function to Engineering Change Board and Action Request meeting.  Provide feedback having any impact on cost, changes, or scheduled shipment to responsible Sales Manager
• Customer interface for problem solving including action request and customer complaint request
• Primary interface between RSM’s and engineering

SKILLS

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good problem solving and negotiation skills
• Electrical aptitude
• E xperience with computer applications (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office) SalesLogix and M2M is a plus

Qualifications:

• BSEE, BSEET or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in a technical sales environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and one-line diagrams

Assembler
Rate of Pay:    New Hire: $11.00

DUTIES
Assemble and prepare for assembly, assemblies and sub-assemblies. Operations include but are not limited to space windings, plating, insulating, salvaging, stuffing boards, packing and soldering. Operations will require the use of hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, jigs and fixtures.

REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrate the ability to read, understand and follow written instructions, possess basic knowledge of number skills and demonstrate manual dexterity. Demonstrate the ability to read, understand and follow written instructions, possess the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics and follow wiring diagrams, and have manual dexterity. Must be able to accurately determine different colors and be physically able to perform the duties of the classification.

Duties require flexibility in a variety of job assignments in the manufacturing of electrical transformer and voltage regulation products. The position is one that works in a labor union, in a factory production environment at specific production standard rates. Must possess good, dependable attendance habits and be able to safely interact with all employees.

Standing/Walking – up to 90%
Lifting 0 up to 50 pounds throughout an 8 hour shift
